K-mart Super Doubles on 10/31/10 ONLY

I received an e-mail this morning from K-mart advertising a one day only double coupon sale for 10/31/10.  To read the fine print, check here.  There's lots of stipulations on this one, K-mart seems to be making these promos harder and harder to get any great deals.  This sale doubles manufacturer coupons up to $2 ($2 off coupon becomes $4 off the item) and will not double more than the price of the item, but you have to spend $25 in grocery and drug-store merchandise in order to qualify. 

Thanks, but no thanks, K-mart!  This sounds like too much work and trouble for me - I will be sitting this one out! 

K-mart $5 Toy Printable

I was snooping around over at CW this morning and found this $5 off any toy purchase of $5 or more printable store coupon for K-mart.  This coupon expires on 10/31 so you will want to jump on this one right away!  This coupon is in .pdf format so you can print as many as you need. You might want to save this one to your computer in case the link disappears - I have it saved if you need it e-mailed to you, just send me a note. 

There are a couple exclusions that I want to point out: excludes clearance items, B1G1 events, electronics, infants, stationery and prior purchases.  It does state right on it "Limit One Coupon per Transaction" so there is nothing wrong with breaking this down into $5 transactions to get the biggest bang for your buck. 

I am not a big fan of coupon shopping at K-mart (except for doubles!) because of all the hassles and I have not tried this one yet so I can't guarantee how it's going to work once you check out but for FREE or cheap toys with Christmas right around the corner I think it's worth a try.  If you stop over there, come back and leave a comment about your experience and how it played out.  :)

UPDATE: I had good luck with this coupon this afternoon at my local K-mart store.  I was able to do two transactions in a row with no problems.  I didn't want to over-do it so I will be going back tomorrow for a few more things.  :)  I saw quite a few things that were priced right around $5 each that would make great stocking stuffers and birthday gifts.

$15 off $30 Apparel Coupon - K-mart

I am a little late with posting this one - better late than never, right?!?  There's a $15 off of a $30 apparel purchase coupon for K-mart in Sunday's Chicago Tribune.  It is on page 6 of the main/front section.  Hopefully you haven't put out your recycling yet and you can still grab this out of the bin!  :)  The coupon is good until 9/25  and there are a couple exclusions in the fine print.

K-mart Super Doubles 7/4 - 7/10

Select K-mart stores are doubling coupons from 7/4 - 7/10.  Go here to check to see if your store is participating.  This is just for health and beauty manufacturer coupons (grocery not included), limit 5 per customer per day, up to $2.  There's loads of FREE stuff to be had at K-mart with the Super Doubles Sale - I am glad my store IS particiapting!

K-mart FYI

Just a note to those of you who were planning on using that $10 off of a $20 purchase K-mart coupon.  I have been reading reports that K-mart has decided to stop accepting that coupon any longer, even though the expiration date is 5/22/10.  This doesn't surprise me due to the fact that it was an unlimited print coupon and that it spread like wild fire over the internet.   Sometimes the masterminds over at K-mart don't think things all the way through.   Anyway, if you were going to use that coupon, it's not worth the trip. 

K-mart Toy Clearance Additional 50% Off!

K-mart has their 50% off toy clearance going on right now.  All toys on clearance are an additional 50% off the lowest clearance price.  This would be great to pair with the $10 off of a $20 purchase coupon if you can shop at one of the stores listed on the coupon.  The coupon is no longer available online, but I saved it to my computer so if you need the coupon send me a note and I would be happy to e-mail it to you, it's a .pdf file.

K-mart Super Doubles Ends 4/10

Just a reminder that the K-mart Super Doubles sale ends on 4/10/10.  If you haven't had a chance to get to the store to take advantage of some of the freebies, you only have one more day.  Several of the money saving blogs listed on the sidebar have great coupon match-ups for freebies or really great deals - check them out!

K-mart Super Doubles 4/4 - 4/10

CommonSenseWithMoney blog has posted some answers to questions we have all been wondering about with the upcoming Super Doubles sale at K-mart.   Here's the executive summary:

1. You must have a Shop Your Way to Rewards card in order to have your coupons doubled. To get your Shop Your Way to Rewards card, visit your local Kmart store or apply online at http://www.shopyourwayrewards.com/.

 2. There is no minimum amount to spend.

 3. You can double a total of 5 coupons. Customers may not double more than one of the same coupon.

#3 is pretty vague - it doesn't state if it's 5 coupons per day, per transaction or just 5 for the whole week.  Typical of K-mart...I guess we will just have to wait and see if anyone can report back on Sunday.

If you don't already have the K-mart rewards card, I would just wait and apply in store when you go to shop.  They will give you your new card immediately and you won't have to wait for the snail mail.  Since the Super Doubles sale seems to be linked to the rewards card - why not apply for more than one card?  You would then be able to do multiple transactions and double coupons in increments of 5's.  I already have two cards - one in my name and one in my husband's name.  I plan on shopping every day at the doubles sale since the store is just minutes away from my son's school.

No Coupon Inserts 4/4/10?

UPDATE : Coupon Tom is stating NO coupon inserts this weekend, but Sunday Coupon Preview shows a P&G insert.  Be on the look out for this insert - don't discard it by mistakenly thinking there's nothing worth digging through the paper for.

Just a remider that there's no inserts scheduled for this Sunday's paper.  It's Easter Sunday and there's normally no inserts on holiday weekends.  I am somewhat glad there will be no inserts - I need a break from clipping and shopping after this week at Wags, Target and Hilander!

FREE Snuggle Fabric Softner with Overage!

***My frugal friend Melissa texted me to point out that this coupon is actually for the 32 load size or larger, I read it as the 32 oz. or larger size....OOOPPPS!!  Use your best judgement, but the coupon doesn't beep at K-mart on the sale Snuggle.  She comments that it's $3.47 at Wal-mart and on sale at our local Logli (Schnucks affiliate) for $2.98 starting today.  Sorry for the mix up, that's what I get for being in a hurry and shopping with a 5 year old!***

Did you get the $3.00 Snuggle coupon in your 3/28 RP? 

Snuggle is on sale at K-mart this week 2/$5.00.  Use two of the above coupons on these and score $1.00 in overage. 

If K-mart doesn't have any on the shelf - ask.  When I stopped in today, the shelf was bare but there was more in back.   If they don't have any, get a rain-check.  If you think you can score more coupons soon, bump up the # you need when getting the rain-check, you may be able to purchase these at one of the clipping services. 

The coupons don't beep at K-mart so the overage is almost a sure thing!  I always have a hard time thinking of ideas for what to use overage on when there's nothing else that I need so my son scored a hula-hoop today!

K-mart Toy Clearance Additional 50% Off!

I stopped in over at my local K-mart today to check on some match-ups for the Super Doubles sale and I noticed that all the clearance toys are an ADDITIONAL 50% off thru 3/28/10.  There was quite a bit of toys in the back of the store in the clearance section and there were clearance toys in the toy department also.  I love these clearance sales for stocking up on birthday gifts and little trinkets for times when our son deserves something special.

Good Deals from 3/21 inserts

I wanted to point out a couple good coupons in today's insert that will result in some great deals and freebies.  All three coupons are in the SS from 3/21.

1.  Save $4.00 on any Schick Quattro Disposable 3 ct. or Xtreme 3 Disposable 8ct. Razor package.  Walgreens has the Quattro 3 ct. on sale this week for $6.99 with a store coupon (in the March monthly coupon booklet) for $2.00 off.  Stack this manufacturer coupon with the store coupon and pay only .99 for these razors.

2.  Save $3.00 on any Schick Disposable Razor Package.  Wal-mart sells a 10 pack (with 2 bonus razors included) of the ST2 razors for $1.97.  Use this coupon for 12 FREE razors and some overage! (these are hard to locate at my Wal-mart so check the bins in the bottom row low to the ground - that's where you'll find them)

3.  $1.50 off St. Ives Facial Product.  This coupon will get you some almost free facial scrub at K-mart during the week of Super Doubles.  The scrub is priced right around $3.69 so when the coupon doubles to $3.00 off you can take this home for right around .69!

So, I thought I would run out this evening and pick up some things for our son's Easter basket at K-mart with the $10 off $20 purchase coupon that I posted about yesterday.  When I handed over the coupon to the cashier she informed me that this coupon cannot be accepted at my store. 

Apparently the coupon spread like wildfire over the internet, so K-mart changed it.  The link is the same but the coupon has changed to read certain stores that it is only accepted at.  My store is not listed.  If you check my original post below, you can click on the link and see the list of stores included.  Maybe you will be near one of these stores in your travels.  In the meantime, I am bummed that I can't use this at my store - I had BIG plans for this coupon. 

I don't normally like to post about deals unless I have tried them because I don't want to send my deal seeking friends and family on a wild goose chase.  I got overly excited when I saw this coupon yesterday, which is why I posted it right away without trying it out first.  Lesson learned, I promise not to get too excited next time! 

Hopefully your store is listed and I didn't send you out with false hopes!

This is a GREAT coupon!  Print this $10 off your next $20 purchase store coupon for K-mart.  This coupon is in pdf format so print as many as you would like to use - there's no limit!  It doesn't expire until 5/22/10 so you have plenty of time to find some great deals and maybe even use it during the Super Doubles sale (4/4 - 4/10) to snag some awesome deals.  Oh how I wish I had found this yesterday before I went shopping - this would have made my clearance items that much better!

Remember, you can use this in conjunction with manufacturer coupons!

April All You Magazine

My April All You Magazine came in the mail today and I am so excited about some of the coupons inside!  You are definitely going to want to pick up this issue!  It has $81.55 worth of coupons inside.  Here's just a few of the great ones that I see: 

*FREE Rimmel product (up to $5.00): Color Rush Eye Shadow, Lycra Lash Extender Mascara, Exaggerate Eye Definer, Natural Bronzer or Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipstick.  It states "Purchase at Wal-mart" but it is a manufacturer coupon and does not state ONLY at Wal-mart.  Wouldn't it be great to find a B1G1F sale to combine this one with?

*$2.00 off any LaCross Beauty Tool - this will be a great one for K-mart Super Doubles sale - FREE beauty tools!

*$1.00 off Colgate Total - looks like I am heading back to Wags for more FREE toothpaste!

*$1.00 off Colgate Sensetive Toothpaste - and more FREE toothpaste at Wags!

*$2.00 off any one Spot Shot carpet stain and odor eliminator - this doubled at K-mart should make for an almost free carpet cleaner. 

There are various other coupons, but these really stood out to me.  Of course, the newstand copy does not come out at Wal-mart this early, so you can expect to see this issue out next week or later.  If you don't have a subscription, you might want to think about ordering one, this magazine pays for itself.

K-mart Winter Clearance

You may want to head over to K-mart this week to check out what they have on clearance.  All of their winter apparel is marked down to $3.99.  This is the time of the year to be stocking up on next fall/winter necessities.  They are having what is called a "Clearance Countdown" so I am assuming each week the prices get lower and lower until it's all gone.  I plan on stopping there tomorrow morning after I drop my son off at school because I am hoping to stock up on some men's and kid's sweat-pants for next season.

Before you head over there, you might want to read this post from Jill Cataldo's Super-Couponing website (with coupon match-ups) for the latest Catalina deals running at K-mart:

Kmart is running a "Spend $20, get $5 OR Spend $30, get $10 Catatalina deal.

What's interesting about this sale is that the ad states "Offer is good on ANY size, scent or variety of these featured brands," and then goes on to list the brands, noting that there are over 165 included items. No worrying about UPC lists or spreadsheets here!

If you find your self unsure that the K-mart store that you shop at is going to participate in the Super Doubles double coupon sale you can check this master list directly from K-mart headquarters for a complete run-down of all the K-mart stores across the country that will be participating.  I found two of my local K-mart stores on the list so I am jumping for joy! 

The Super Doubles sale starts on 4/4 and runs thru 4/10.  If you have never had the opportunity to shop a K-mart double coupon sale you will really enjoy this.  It's a great way to build your stockpile very quickly.  All coupons up to $2 face value will double, up to the price of the item of course.  There's no overage when shopping the double coupon sale but when a $2 coupon doubles to $4 off there's loads of products to be had for FREE!

Freebies from the 3/7 inserts

I hope you remembered to get your Sunday paper today because it is a good week for coupon inserts.  If you forgot, there are stores that still sell copies on Monday so you might want to head out tonight or tomorrow morning to get your copies.  The Chicago Tribune had slightly better coupons than my local paper did.  Here's a rundown of all the freebies I noticed in the coupons today:

K-mart doubles again! 4/4 thru 4/10

Of course, I have been telling everyone that K-mart is no longer going to run their "Super Doubles" coupon sale because that is what they have been reporting and now K-mart has gone and changed their mind (K-mart seems to do this to us deal seeking couponers a lot lately)!!

It's being reported on several money saving blogs and forums that from 4/4 thru 4/10 K-mart will again be running their Super Doubles double coupon sale and here's the guidelines:

Manufacturer Coupons up to and including $2 Value Doubled up to $4
Offer dates: 04/04-04/10
Does not include Kmart Store Coupons
Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons
Limit 5 total coupons per customer per day.
Store Operations: First 5 coupons provided by customer will be doubled.  (meaning they stop doubling after 5, so use your highest value coupons first)

ALL Illinois stores are included in this sale with the exception of Galesburg, Moline, Rock Island and Sterling.

With the limit of 5 per customer, I see lots of trips to K-mart in my future!
