End of Month - Printables

Just a little reminder that it's the end of the month so you might want to check Coupons.com, Redplum.com and Smartsource.com for any coupons that you don't want to miss out on.  These usually change and/or reset with the first of each new month.

Make sure you check them again right away on Wednesday for all the new coupons that come out!

Cheap Kids Toothbrushes @ Hilander/Kroger

First, I want to apologize for my lack of posts here lately.  I really haven't been shopping much so I haven't had much to post about.  I am hoping to get back in the swing of things over the next couple weeks so hopefully you will be hearing from me more often - I can't make any promises, but I will do my best to try to get some more tips and deals posted.  I do have a great frugal adventure to tell you about sometime soon....stay tuned for that!

I had to make a quick stop to pick up some of the essentials today so I decided to run into Hilander/Kroger since I also needed some things at another store nearby there.  Since I was just making a quick stop I decided to check out what Jill Catalado had listed on her site for the weekly deals at Hilander.  If you haven't already checked her posting you can see it here.  I wanted to pick up some of the GUM toothbrushes for .25 each, but they were all out of the individual toothbrushes priced at 10 for $10 (or $1 each). 

I looked around at the other GUM brushes and ran across an even better deal!  They also have the kids GUM toothbrushes on sale for 10 for $10 and what makes this a better deal is that there are TWO toothbrushes in each package.  Here's what they look like:

Pair this sale with the .75 coupon from the 8/8 RP and pay .25 for TWO toothbrushes, that's "almost" .13 each (.125 to be exact!)! 

Also, if you can't find any of the Reach toothbrushes that Jill mentions in her list, you can pick up the Reach floss priced at 10 for $10 using the same coupon, which will double to $1.00 making them FREE. 

I didn't find any other deals at Hilander because I really was only there for a few things, finding a deal like this made my trip worth it though - I know, the littlest things get me excited!  :)

Walgreens Coupon Policy

Walgreens has officially posted their store coupon policy online.  Go here to check it out.  I highly recommend printing this one and having it handy in your coupon binder.  There have been many times when I have been checking out at Wags that I wished I had a policy to refer back to. 

I have updated the Walgreens coupon policy on the sidebar so that you always have a link to it if you need it in the future.

FREE Purina One (with overage) @ Petsmart

6 oz. pouches of Purina One Dog and Cat foods are .49 each with your Pet Perks card at Petsmart.  Use the $2.00 off coupons from the 8/15 SS (expire 9/15) to get these FREE with $1.51 in overage for each one.  The coupons are worded for "any" size bag of Purina One and the coupons do not beep at the register.  These pouches can be found in various areas of the store on the hanging display strips.  I found some over in the dog treat aisle, dog food aisle and cat food aisle, check all the aisles because the pouches weren't always by the full size bags of this same product.  Make sure you have enough in your cart to cover the overage and you will have some happy fur babies! 

Bricks Printable Coupons

You may notice that you see the name "Bricks" when you print Internet coupons.  Bricks is a company that hosts printable coupons for manufacturers.  I decided to start searching around on the Internet for Bricks to see if I could find a "Master" list of their printable coupon links.  It didn't take long to locate their main website with a link to some really good printable coupons or manufacturer websites where their hosted printable coupons could be found. 

You will want to check out this website for some great high value coupons.  Make sure you also check their list of "Clients, Partners, & Brands" up at the top of the page because these provide links to manufacturer websites where printable coupons can be found. 

I think these printables change so you will want to check this site every so often to find new printables.  I will soon add a link to this on the sidebar under  "Printable Coupon Links" so that it will be easily accessible and maybe you will remember to check it if you see it over there.  :)

Sobe Deal @ Kroger/Hilander

Frugal Tara has been at it again!  She scoped out this great deal on Sobe at Kroger/Hilander and wanted to share it with you.  She e-mailed this to me on Friday but I was out of town until today.  There's still time to get in on this great deal.  Tara writes:

Taking a break...

With the start of school just  a few short weeks away, I am going to take a break from blogging for awhile.  I want to spend this time enjoying my last weeks of summer with my son, prepping for his big milestone of full-day school and tending to some personal things.
