You will be able to print a $1.00 Scotties tissue coupon here if you answer the question "are you a regular Scotties user?" as NO. This is for $1.00 off any 60-264 count single or multi-pack. I have previously printed this in the past but I was able to print it once again so it must have reset. It only let me print this coupon once. If you answer the question with a YES, you will still be givien a coupon, but the value is only .50.
Scotties are on sale right now at Jewel stores for $1.00 a box and I am sure you can get these FREE or almost free elsewhere with this great coupon.

4-$5.00 Old Style Beer Coupons
If you're hosting a Super Bowl party these coupons might come in handy for you! You can sign up at the Old Style website and print four $5.00 coupons twice. These are monthly coupons and each one is for a different month. You will get one for the current month that you are signing up in and then one for each month for the next three months following that. Once you get past the initial page that asks for your birthdate, go down to the bottom of the screen where it asks "have you been kraeusened yet?" and click "more". Then just click on "get my coupons" and then you can print them.
The cases of Old Style are on sale at Jewel stores until 2/1/2010 for $11.99 a case - that makes them $6.99 a case after the coupons. Not a bad deal at all if you need beer for a party.

*UPDATE* McNeil Product Recall
If you have any of the products that were part of the product recall that I wrote about here I would encourage you to send an e-mail to McNeil with the products that you have on hand. I realized that I had 5 boxes of the Tylenol 8 Hour from a Walgreens deal in my cabinet so I took a couple minutes to e-mail the company asking how I go about getting reimbursed for my product.
Today I received an e-mail telling me that they will be sending a reimbursement for these and I should dispose of the product. If you have any of these products and you contact them (you will find the link in my original post) make sure you include your address in your correspondence. Be prepared to wait a few days for a response from the company. I sent my original inquiry to them on 1/18 but I didn't hear back from them until 1/29. I am sure with so many products included in this recall they are swamped with questions and requests.

Free light bulbs @ Target (possible small MM)
If you are heading over to Target anytime soon you can score some free light bulbs. Over at Coupons.com there's a $1.00 printable for any GE Energy Smart Compact Flourescent lighting product and in the 1/10 SS there's a Target coupon for $2.00 off any GE Energy Smart Compact Flourescent light bulb package.
Some of these light bulbs were on clearance for $2.78 at the store I stopped at (looks like the packaging may have changed a little bit and that's why they are clearanced). There were also packages for $2.99. These are boxes of individually packaged light bulbs, 1 bulb to a box. Stack the two coupons together for some free light bulbs with the possibility of a little overage. Just make sure you remember to hand over the manufacturer coupons first and then the Target coupons and have some other items in your cart to use up the overage.
Also, don't forget to bring along your re-useable shopping bags because Target gives a .05 credit for each re-useable shopping bag that you use.

Cheerios Printable Coupons
Cheerios has some really great coupons that they will e-mail to you just for signing up at their website. Go here to sign up for e-mails which will include $1.00 off the original Cheerios (1 $1.00 e-mail coupon each week for 4 weeks) and $1.00 off Multi-Grain Cheerios (1 $1.00 e-mail coupon each week for 5 weeks). You can also print .50 coupons for the new Chocolate Cheerios (I am sure as soon as I pick up some of these they will be a new favorite in our house) and $2.00 in coupons for Honey Nut Cheerios.
I am not sure if you can sign up for all of these coupons or if you need to pick just one to receive, but I signed up for the Multi-Grain Cheerios this morning and have been getting the coupons for the original Cheerios for a couple weeks now. The site didn't tell me that I couldn't receive the coupon because I was already signed up. Hopefully we can sign up for all of these offers and not just one.

Blockbuster Express Movies
The blog Money Saving Madness has some codes listed for free movies at Blockbuster Express kiosks. These are just like the Redbox movie rental stations that I wrote about here. I am new to renting movies with Redbox and I love it (especially when I get free rentals!). To find a Blockbuster Express station go here, where you can enter in any town or zip code. I found one very conveniently located for my family. Here's the list of free codes from Money Saving Madness:
KIOSK --Free rental --exp 2/10
GT11A--Free rental--exp 1/31

These codes can be used once per credit card. Movies are due by 9 p.m. the next day to avoid an extra $1 fee for the next 24 hrs.

Retailmenot.com
Have you ever heard of Retailmenot.com? If you are going to be shopping online anytime soon, I suggest you check it out. It's a website with tons of coupon codes for online shopping. These codes can be used for discounts or free shipping at many retailers. If you find a HOT coupon code you can enter it on the site to share with others as well.
The site also has a printable coupon section and links you to some grocery coupons as well. The grocery coupons appear to be a link to Coupons.com. One thing I did notice is that when I went to the printable grocery coupons, even though it appeared that it was thru Coupons.com, I was able to print coupons that I had already printed the max of 2 per computer at Coupons.com. This site could be a new source for getting multiples of the good coupons since it let me print them again.
I just checked out this site tonight and tried one of the discount codes over at hotels.com. The code wasn't valid on my reservation (probably because I was booking it through Upromise) but it was worth a try!

K-mart Clearance
K-mart has some clearance sales going on right now worth mentioning. I stopped in there this morning after dropping my son off at school and thought I would do the Glade Fragrance Collection Catalina deal going on right now. The Glade deal didn't turn out to be so great since the candles weren't on sale at my store but if you want to read about the deal you can check it out here.
Anyway, there were signs up all over showing an additional 20% off all clearanced toys. This runs thru 1/23/2010. I saw quite a few cute toys but I tried to control myself since I went a little overboard this past Christmas. I was able to find a couple cute Lego sets which I did snatch up since Legos usually don't get clearanced out too often. They are the small sets which would make a great Valentine or Easter gift for our son since we don't give a lot of sweets in our house. Don't forget after strolling down the toy aisles to check in the back of the store in the clearance section. My store had the clearance toys in both areas.
Chirstmas candy and other items are also on sale. The wrapping paper and other Christmas left overs are marked at 90% off and the candy is 75% off. I was able to snag a gingerbread house for .49 and a set of gingerbread cookies to decorate next year for .49. These are complete kits with everything included. I will put these away with our Christmas decorations and we'll use them next year for decorating. Since we don't ever eat them anyway, it doesn't hurt to buy them now at this price.
One other thing I noticed was some of the kids winter clothes on clearance for 40% off. The snowpants are part of this clearance sale and as soon as I go home and check the size of the ones that I bought for this year, I will be going back to get a bigger pair for next year. When my son is not with me I sometimes have a hard time deciding what size to get him that far in advance! I think I calculated that these would be about $5.39 after the 40% discount. That's a great price for kids snowpants!

WD-40 Printable Coupon
A little something for the guys! Go here to print a coupon for $1.50 off WD-40. Look over the right side of the screen and you will see "Download a Coupon". WD-40 is not something we normally see coupons for and this is a really high value coupon. I am not sure what the small cans go for at the store but if this is something that you use regularly you can't go wrong printing this one. The coupon doesn't expire until 12/31/2010 so if you can hold out, I am sure a great sale on WD-40 is probably not too far off.
Walgreens Money Maker 1/17-1/24
Here's a great Walgreens money maker that doesn't involve RR's. This week (1/17-1/24) the Aviva Accu-Check Blood Glucose system is on sale for $9.99. In the 11/8 SS there's a coupon to save "up to" $10.00 on one meter; the coupon will beep at the register and prompt the cashier to enter the value of the meter ($9.99). After handing over your manufacturer coupons for your transaction, you will want to have the cashier scan the Walgreens coupon for $5.00 off Aviva by Accu-Check from the Diabetes & You - Holiday 2009/Winter 2010 coupon booklet found in the pharmacy area.
Having both the manufacturer and store coupon scanned results in a $5 MM deal. If you have more than one of the 11/8 SS coupons you could make this an even better deal. You can purchase more than one meter in a transaction and the Walgreens coupon will take off $5 for each meter in your transaction. Make sure you have at least $5 (or $10, $15, etc) in other mechandise (after coupons) in your cart to use up this overage. It doesn't happen too often at Walgreens that we get a MM without a RR involved!
So far, I have not been able to work this deal because my store has been out of these meters. I checked again today but no luck. They tell me they might be in today's or tomorrow's shipment, but I am thinking that I may need to go on a Walgreens road trip. If you don't find them on the shelf by the other meters, make sure to ask at the pharmacy - they always have extra monitors behind the counter.
Now, if you are not able to get any meters this week to take advantage of this deal, on 1/31 you will have another opportunity to also make this a MM but with a RR involved. On 1/31 the meters go on sale for $14.99 and will produce a $5.00 RR. Use the two coupons noted above to get the meter for free with $5.01 in overage. You will have to have a "filler" to use up the .01 overage on the transaction and then you will receive a $5 RR. You can only do this deal on 1/31 though because the manufacturer coupon expires on 1/31/2010.
Good Luck finding these meters and remember, if you don't actually use the meters yourself, you can give them away to someone in need.

McNeil Product Recall
I wanted to make note of a recent product recall just incase you were not aware of it already. This recall is pretty extensive and covers several products such as Tylenol, Rolaids, Motrin, Benadryl, Simply Sleep and St. Joseph. These are all products that have been part of our deals in the past so you just might have some in your stockpile. I checked the list and sure enough I had some of the Tylenol 8 HR. For a complete list and information about this recall you can go directly to the McNeil website here.

$15 All You Magazine Subscription
If you are interested in a subscription to All You, the magazine that I blogged about here, you can read about how to get a subscription for $15 here on the Deal Seeking Mom blog.
All You is a great source for some really good coupons and the articles aren't too bad either! $15 is a really great price on this magazine, I think I paid about $17 for my subscription awhile back from a tip on another blog. The magazine will surely pay for itself in coupons and then some!

Office Max - Max Perks Rewards
I recently joined Office Max's Max Perks reward program to try it out. When you go to sign up you can choose from a business reward card or a teacher reward card. I don't have a business and I am not a teacher but I was able to sign up. Nowhere in the "fine print" does it state that you have to have a business or actually be a teacher to join.
I joined because right now there's a really great deal going on for copy/printer paper - and being a couponer I go through a lot of paper! For each box of paper your purchase for $34.99 you receive $35.00 in Max Perks rewards - that's FREE paper!! There's a limit of two boxes, but if you buy two the shipping is FREE. Basically, all I paid for two boxes of paper delivered to my door is the tax! This offer is thru 1/16/2010 so if you are going to get in on this deal, you will want to act fast. I plan to use my rewards on other deals so that I can make the most out of the $$.
You can also earn $3 in rewards money by turning in your used ink cartridges and showing your card. My son's school collects used ink cartridges to raise money for the school so I won't be taking advantage of this perk but it's worth noting in case you don't have an outlet to recycle old cartridges.
Go here to read more about the program and to join. When you join you will be able to print a temporary card to use until your welcome kit arrives in the mail.
***NOTE: This shipped SUPER fast!! I ordered this paper on 1/14 and it was delivered on 1/15. WOW! The delivery person even brought it into my house for me - all for FREE!! I highly recommend this service for any office supply needs.

Getting Started: Planning your weekly shopping trips
Once you change your shopping habits and get into a routine with using coupons there really isn't a lot of time involved with planning your shopping trips if you stay organized and on track.
I usually use Sunday evening, after my son is in bed, as time to go through the coupons, scan the ads and plan my trips. The first thing I do is look through the sale ads at the stores that I shop at. I take note of sales on things that I need for the week and I watch for items that look like a really great deal, especially with coupons. I also take a few minutes to sit down at my computer and check CouponTom for coupon match-ups. I look up coupons for all my items that I need and check for coupons on those sale items that are really great. If I find that there's coupons for these items I write on the ad which insert those coupons are in. I also search manufacturer websites (for coupons) and for printable coupons. Then I start a list for that store and clip my coupons from the inserts and use a paper clip to attach the coupons to my list. I do this for each store that I plan to shop at for the week and I keep the sale ad with my list for reference at the store. I make notes on my list if I have coupons for the items (manufacturer and store) and if I am expecting a catalina coupon on those items. Keeping these notes helps you cut down on time in the store and lets you easily know that your deals went smoothly.
Next, I scan through the coupon inserts and clip coupons for items that I KNOW we will use and file them in my coupon binder. I don't clip every coupon to file in my binder, that would just take way too much time. The inserts get filed in my hanging file folders by date.
Lastly, I read money saving blogs to make sure that I haven't missed any great deals for the week. The blogs are a great resource for a lot of deals that might otherwise go unnoticed. If I find something posted that I missed, I add it to my list (with notes) and find the coupons. I tend to check these blogs daily because new deals are added several times a day. They usually have coupon match ups and link you to printable coupons. A lot of the time bloggers post about clearance deals at stores that are not advertised in the sale flyers. They also post about unadvertised catalina promotions and freebies with coupons. It doesn't take much time to keep up with my regular blogs since I know where I left off on the blog - I just check to see if anything new has been added since my last visit.
I keep my coupon binder in a canvas bag where I also have all the week's ads. I don't leave the house without my coupon bag - you never know when the opportunity will arise to stop in a store and take a look around. Some stores will price match competitors so I always keep the ads with me, even if it's for a store I don't normally shop at. They may come in handy for a price match at a store with a better deal.
If I am not able to get everything on my list in one trip, I cross off the items that I purchased and then keep the list for my next visit or store. Sometimes in a week I will visit several different Walgreens (or Wal-mart, Jewel, etc) locations to get everything on my list. Having the original list makes this a little easier, plus I can add to the list through the week if I find deals on the blogs.
You can find a list of the blogs that I check regularly on the sidebar.

Kraft First Taste
Have you signed up for Kraft First Taste? It works very similar to Pssst... and Vocalpoint. You sign up with some information and then you can take surveys about Kraft products or even try out new products before any one else knows about them. Coupons are mailed out to you and they have an "offers" section on your profile where you can print personalized offers for new products. I just printed a coupon for $1.25 off the new Digiorno 200 calorie portions pizzas. I can't wait to try them and with this coupon I should be able to get them just about free with a great sale. Who ever said there was no such thing as a free lunch?!?!

I haven't tried this since I used my coupons last week at Walgreens for FREE Ritz crackers but I have read this on several money saving blogs. Getting Started: Electronic Coupons
There are several websites that you can access to load electronic coupons to your store shopping cards. You can do this by signing up at the website and registering your cards. Then you can browse the coupons available to load to your card. Once you make your selections, these coupons link to your shopping card and when you make your purchase of these items using your shopping card, the coupon automatically comes off at the register - no clipping necessary. The great thing about using electronic coupons is that you can also use clipped or printed manufacturer or store coupons on those same items really reducing your out of pocket. It's about the only time I can think of that you can actually use TWO manufacturer coupons on one item.
Here's the links to some electronic coupons:
PGeSaver.com
Shortcuts.com
Softcoin.com
Cellfire.com
Upromise.com
The electronic coupons at Upromise work a little differently than the rest. At Upromise, you load the electronic coupons to your cards and when you buy those items, instead of the coupon coming off at the register, the coupon amount is deposited into your Upromise account.
You are also going to want to check with your store or shopping card's website to see if they also offer electronic coupons or offers. One of the cards that I have for Jewel grocery stores offers regular coupons each week and then there is a section of coupons tailored specifically for me and things that I shop for based on my past shopping habits. I do, however, have to login and update these offers every week because they expire. They usually run the same schedule as the sale flyer does.
I have added links to these electronic coupons on the sidebar so that they can be easily accessed.

Redbox Movie Rentals
Have you ever rented a movie from Redbox? I see these all over the place in my travels and have always read about great deals for free movies, but I have never tried one - I think it's about time that I do! Listed below is an entry from a blog that I read regularly, as well as a few codes for free movie rentals. You can find the blog here and on my sidebar as Deal Seeking Mom.
She lists four current codes for free movie rentals: RBX2NITE, FREE45W, DVDONME & BREAKROOM.
It looks like she posts these codes every week - very sweet!! I see lots of free entertainment in my future!
Here's a link to search for a Redbox machine near you and at this site you can also browse movies and reserve your movie right online.
Here's her entry about using Redbox rental machines:
By popular demand, here’s how to use those Redbox free rental codes that I post every Monday! By the way, rentals are only $1 regularly, so this is a great resource for cheap entertainment even without a free rental code!
It really could not be easier. The first thing you should do is find your nearest Redbox using their Redbox kiosk search. From here’s it’s just three simple steps to redeem your free rental code:
Select “Rent with a Promo Code”. You’ll find this option on the opening touch screen in the lower left corner. Now enter your code, of course.
Select your movie. Redbox always has a great variety of choices. You’re sure to find something appropriate for your family, and new releases are added every Tuesday. You can check out the current releases here.
Complete your transaction. You’ll need to enter a credit card to check out, but you will not be charged unless you do not return your movie by 9:00 p.m. the following evening.
Speaking of returning movies, you can return them to any Redbox location! You need not return it to the specific location that you rented it from. They are always due back by the following evening at 9:00 p.m. The good news, however, is that you will never be charged a late fee. You will only be charged for another night’s rental at the rate of $1. This is great for those of us with mommy brain that tend to forget about these things until about 8:59 p.m.
One of my favorite features is the ability to reserve your Redbox movies online ahead of time. How cool is that option?!? Unfortunately it cannot be used with the free rental codes at this time, but I’ll be the first to shout out the news if they ever add it!
Be sure to check back here every Monday for the latest free rental code valid through midnight CST.
HOT TIP! – You can actually use them more than once. The trick is you will have to use a different credit card or debit card for each transaction.
Looking for a free rental code that can be used anytime? I suggest you check out Redbox Insider. They usually have several working codes listed at any given time!

CHEAP Binders @ Wal-mart
While I was at Wal-mart today scoping out some deals, I strolled down the clearance aisle just checking things out. I found some zippered binders on clearance for $3.00 marked down from $10.00. These were Mead binders, with a zippered pocket on the front and a zipper to hold it all together. They were all the way on the top shelf and would have been easily missed with all the other clearance stuff piled up. These are great for coupon organization. If you are struggling with how to organize your coupons, read my post here on organizing with a binder. It's my favorite way so far and $3.00 or less is a great price on these. If you are thinking about switching over to the binder as a way to hold all your coupons, keep your eyes open at Wal-mart for these.
CHEAP Ivory Soap Bars @ Wal-mart
There's a $1.00 off Ivory bar soap coupon in the 12/27 PG insert. Wal-mart sells packages that contain three bars for $1.07. Not a bad deal for bar soap - we seem to go through bar soap really fast so I was glad to find some really cheap. The coupon friendly cashier at my Wal-mart commented on this today as she was ringing my transaction and confided in me that she gets a discount that would take .11 off one of these packages making this a slight MM for her!! I love to see when others help themselves save so much money!

FREE Downy Wrinkle Releaser @ Wal-mart
There sure seems to be a lot of freebies to be had at Wal-mart lately. Here's a coupon for a FREE travel/trial size bottle of the Downy Wrinkle Releaser. I have seen this in the travel/trial section at the store. Since the coupon doesn't expire until 6/2010 and this coupon is in .pdf format you can print as many as you like and use them over time. I have not tried this product yet, but I have wanted to so this is a great opportunity to see if it holds to it's promises to get the wrinkles out.

FREE cereal with milk purchase @ Kelly Williamson Mobil
If you live near a Kelly Williamson Mobil gas station you might want to stop there the next time you need milk. Starting yesterday through February 7th you get a FREE box of Kellogg's cereal with every two gallons of milk you purchase - no coupons necessary! Kelly Williamson regularly runs this deal, which I love because there is a Mobil gas station where I get my gas right by my son's school. The way my family goes through milk, we usually end up with loads of free boxes of cereal.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs DVD & FREE Spot Shot
Here's a coupon for $3.00 off the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. My son got this book for his birthday and he just loves it so we can't wait to see the movie.
Wal-mart has the movie for $15.96 which is a great price on a new release, especially when pairing it with the coupon. To make the deal even better head over to the household aisle where the carpet cleaning solutions are. Right on the bottles of Spot Shot (aerosol and pump spray bottles) are peelie coupons for a free bottle when you purchse the movie and the Spot Shot together. It's as simple as that, just purchase both together and you get the Spot Shot for FREE at the register.
If you can't find the bottles with the peelie coupons, you can clip the $1.00 coupon from the 1/3 SS insert or print one here and then submit for the full purchase price rebate here. If you do the rebate rather than the in-store freebie this will be a small money maker ($1.00 minus the cost of the stamp).
I did this today in the store and it worked great, the casher took the whole $3.54 off my transaction when she scanned the Spot Shot peelie coupon. Can't wait to watch the movie!
***NOTE: when I opened our DVD case there were coupons and rebates inside. There is a $1.00 Spot Shot coupon, 2 Chuck E Cheese coupons for tokens and pizza, a $3.00 coupon for The Secret Pirate Island playmobil interacitve DVD and a rebate for $4.00 when you purchase Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie and TWO packages of Ronzoni, Prince, Skinner, Creamette or San Giorgio pastas.
