Walgreens Wrapping & Tissue Paper MM thru 12/11

**UPDATE** - it's being reported that this deal is NO LONGER producing the RR for tissue paper or wrapping paper!!  Walgreens and Catalina corrected this overnight.  I hope you got this while you could - I am glad I got out yesterday!

As it turns out, there is a reason to head into Wags this week!  There's a MM going on right now with Hallmark wrapping paper and tissue paper.

There's a RR promo going on right now for Hallmark cards.  Buy 2 get a $2 Jingle Ca$h RR, buy 6 get a $5 Jingle Ca$h RR.  These RR's are printing on other Hallmark products as well.  It prints when you purchase 20 ct. Hallmark tissue paper and 50 sq. ft. Hallmark Color Studio wrapping paper.

The Hallmark tissue paper is .99 each, but there's an in-ad coupon to bring this price down to 3/$1.00.  If you buy 6 tissue paper you pay $2.00 and get back $5 Jingle Ca$h RR!  $3 MM!!

The Hallmark Color Studio wrapping paper is on sale this week $1.99 each/B1G1F.  The best way to work this one is to buy two of these at $1.99 and get back a $2 Jingle Ca$h RR to make these FREE with .01 overage.  To make this deal even better, use this .50 Walgreens store coupon for the wrapping paper.  :)  This coupon does beep at the register but it is a valid coupon and the cashier will honor it.  The may only take off .50 or take $1.00 for 2 rolls - cashier discretion.

Here's another scenario to try:

Buy 2 wrapping paper = .99 after sale and store coupon (assuming $1 taken off for store coupon)
Buy 4 tissue paper = $1.33 after in-ad coupon
Pay $2.32 plus tax
Get $5 Jingle Ca$h RR

Now, you have until the end of the day on Saturday to take advantage of this deal, but remember sometimes Wags catches these glitches and stops the RR's from printing.  This deal could end at anytime, but they usually correct the problem overnight.  This is confirmed as working today so tomorrow might be a different story.

A big Thanks to my frugal pal, Renea for trying this one out this morning and reporting back.  I am home with a sick child and can't get out until my hubby is home from work - please save me some wrapping and tissue paper! :)

  1. Deb--Just a clarification on the wrapping paper coupon. It's actually a manufacture coupon that is found on the wags website. Here is a link--believe it's a pdf http://www.walgreens.com/topic/promotion/hallmarkcoupon.jsp

  2. Thanks Renea - The coupon does state that it is a manufacturer coupon, but it is actually coded as a Walgreens store coupon. Sometimes Walgreens puts the wording "manufacturer coupon" on store coupons, even though they are really store coupons. You will see this a lot of the time in the monthly coupon booklets or the Diabetes and You seasonal magazine. The only way to truly tell is by the coding on the bar code of the coupon. In this situation it really doesn't matter because there's no true manufacturer coupon to stack it with, but if there were, you would still be able to stack it with a Hallmark manufacturer coupon. The reason why it is an unlimited print is because it's a store coupon. I hope that makes sense! It's just Walgreens tring to pull one over on us! :)

  3. Thanks Deb! I just checked my receipt and it did only take off the 50 cents, even though I bought 2. Still free wrapping paper though!

  4. So, if I print 2 Q's and buy 2 rolls of paper, it will then take off the $1 - .50 for each since it is a man Q?

  5. I just read the fine print - one coupon per customer, per offer - no go on using more than one!!

  6. You can only use one coupon--and as Deb stated, it will beep, but once they see it is Hallmark, they push it through. But it does say one per coupon per customer.

  7. Warning! The guy manager at the Belvidere store, will not push it thru. He will only allow the coupon on the 4.99 HALLMARK paper. So steer clear of him!!

  9. Nicole - sorry to hear you had difficulties with the coupon and the manager. I know he can be difficult, and he's surely not the friendliest of people. The coupon did not have restrictions on it so he was wrong in not taking it. I would suggest that you contact corporate and let them know. Sometimes they will offer a Walgreens gift card for your inconvenience. If you do that, come back and let us know how it worked out. Good Luck!
