5/2/10 Walgreens Shopping Trip

Walgreens seems a bit "slow" this week; here's a few good deals that I took advantage of @ Wags today.   Not an overall MM but still some deals on stuff that we use. 

Total cost: $1.83

I know you are probably thinking - "what's with all the body wash this woman buys!!"  Seriously, we go through a lot of body wash in our house.  I don't know why that is because there's only 2 adults here that use it.  Whenever I see a body wash deal I am all over it - as far as I am concerned I can't ever have enough stockpiled! 

Here's how I worked two transactions to get everything in the photo for $1.83. 

Transaction #1:
2 Nivea shower gel @ $4.79 each = $9.58
1 Nivea body wash @ 5.59
3 Puffs with Lotion @ 1.99 each = $5.97
2 Sure deodorant @ 2/$5
1 Irish Spring body wash @ 2.99
TOTAL: $29.13
Tax: $1.63

1 B1G1F ($4.79) Nivea body wash May ALL YOU
2 $1.50 off Sure deodorant
1 $1.00 Irish Spring (received from my neighbor, looked to be from a magazine or home mailer)
$1.00 off Puffs with Lotion from Vocalpoint (home mailer)
2 $.50 off Puffs with Lotion from Vocalpoint (home mailer)
$3.00 off for Puffs (Wags in-ad store coupon)
$2.00 off for Sure (Wags in-ad store coupon)
TOTAL coupons : $23.79

Paid $6.97 OOP and received back $7 RR's ($2 for Irish Spring & $5 for Nivea)

Transaction #2:
1 Nivea body wash @ $5.59
1 Men's Nivea body wash @ 4.79
1 Nivea shower gel @ 4.79
3 Puffs with Lotion @ $1.99 each = $5.97
TOTAL: $21.14
Tax: $1.22

1 $3.00 off Men's Nivea body wash 5/2 RP
3 .50 off Puffs with Lotion from Vocalpoint (home mailer)
$3.00 off for Puffs (Wags in-ad store coupon)
TOTAL coupons : $15.50

Paid $ 6.86 OOP and received back $5 RR for Nivea

Total OOP for both transactions = $13.83 and received back $12.00 in RR's.

The Nivea deal can be worked many different ways - the sale is "Spend $15 on participating Nivea products and get $5 RR".  The Nivea products are also on sale for 20% off this week.  I had a few extra $4 off Nivea body wash coupons that I shared with my favorite cashier, Rodie.  It pays to have all those extra coupon inserts for the weeks that the deals are really good. I like to share my coupon wealth!  :)
