I stopped at Jewel today since I was right in the area picking up my purchases from The Radio Shopping Show and I wanted to highlight a few deals that I grabbed while I was there since it's such a slow week with Catalina promos.
* Driscoll's Strawberries are $3.99/lb. B1G1 - look for WT's on Ketel One Vodka for $2.00 off produce or any mixer to make these $1.99 for TWO (or give it a try using TWO WT's and get both FREE if your store lets you use TWO WT's). I stocked up because I am making more strawberry freezer jam!
* Aqua Pods are part of the 10 for $10 sale - use the 5/16 RP coupon for $1.00 off TWO and get these for .50 each.
* Oreo Fudge Cream cookies are on sale for $1.69 - use the $1.00 off coupon in the May AY to get these for .69.
* Goldfish crackers are part of the 10 for $10 sale - ALL varieties of the Goldfish are part of this so if you printed the .75 off coupon for the Grahm Goldfish from Coupons.com that was available you can get these for .25 each, if you printed the .35 coupon for the regular Goldfish also available at Coupons.com you can get these for .65 each.
* Scotch Brite sponges are on sale for .99 each - use the $1.00 off .pdf coupon to get these FREE. If you need the coupon send me a note, I have it saved and can e-mail it to you.
* Coke 2 L bottles are part of the 10 for $10 sale - use the tearpads that I mentioned here to get these for FREE.
* Cole's breadsticks and garlic bread are one sale $3.49 each/B1G1 - go here and sign up to print TWO .50 off coupons to get TWO packages for $2.49. If you printed these before you should be able to print them again, it reset. Just enter all your info again and it will take you to the coupon.
* Dannon Dan-o-nino yogurt is on sale 2/$4 and part of the June Dairy Month Catalina Promo - use the $1.50 off coupon from 6/6 SS to turn this into a MM. Buy 5 for $2.00 each, use 5 $1.50 off coupons, pay $2.50 and receive back a $5 OYNO Catalina.
* Dean's dips are part of the June Dairy Month Catalina promo even though they are not on the UPC list. They are on sale for $1.99 each. There's a $1.00 off TWO coupon here. Make sure you buy a combination of 5 dairy items to get the Catalina.
* Land-O-Lakes spreadable butters are part of the June Dairy Month Catalina promo. Go here to sign up and print .55 coupons for this butter. The coupons make the butter a great deal, remember you need to buy 5 items to get the $5 OYNO Catalina coupon.
* Jewel e-mailed out a coupon for $2.00 off any purchase of fresh pork of $4.00 or more (valid 6/17-6/23). If you don't have this coupon send me a note and I can e-mail it to you. There are WT's out on Paso Creek wine for $1.00 off beef or pork ribs and a $3.00 ribs rebate WT on Gnarly Head wine. The pork back ribs are on sale for 4.99/lb - not that great of a sale on it's own but when you combine the $2 store coupon, the $1.00 WT and the $3.00 rebate you can get a slab of ribs pretty cheap.
Don't forget to get rainchecks if your store is out of stock on any of the sale items!
One last bit of info that I found out today, Jewel will no longer be allowing the use of coupons when the value is greater than the value of the item. They will no longer reduce the value of the coupon to the price of the item. You won't be able to use the coupon on that item. As an example, today I used the $1.00 off Scotch Brite coupon on .99 sponges. This will no longer be allowed. One of the really nice customer service reps was helping me at the USCAN today and told me that just came out in a memo to all the stores yesterday. She let my coupons fly today, but it won't be allowed any longer. Go quickly and get those sponges before all the cashiers get the memo!! :) (I almost felt like I was in Wal-mart instead of Jewel!)
